BUSSMANN (EATON)为HVAC/R提供加强保护-2014-06-19
Eaton Offers Enhanced Safety and Protection for HVAC/R Applications with a Comprehensive Portfolio of Circuit Protection Products
Power management company Eaton is helping original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) enhance safety and save space, time and money with new circuit protection products. The compact overcurrent and overvoltage products from Eaton's Bussmann Division are for use in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) equipment. They protect control panels and help give system owners the added peace of mind that their equipment is operating safely.
"Our customers want solutions that can help protect their vital equipment from overloads and short-circuits," said Nick Offerman, product manager, Eaton's Bussmann Division. "While our HVAC/R solutions take up less space in the panel, require minimal installation and labor time, and result in energy savings, they also enhance operational safety."
With more than 100 years of experience in the circuit protection industry, Eaton's team of experts design products to enhance safety and reliability as well as meet the challenges of saving space in the panel. One of the newest solutions to the portfolio, the Class J power distribution fuse block, uses 50 percent less space and can save up to 33 percent of installation time compared with traditional solutions. Other solutions such as Fusetron™ Class RK5 fuses offer less watts loss and increased energy efficiency.
Eaton's full range of circuit protection solutions meet the needs of large and medium HVAC/R applications including air handling units, chillers and cooling towers, parallel refrigeration racks, condensers and condensing units, as well as for light commercial systems. The company's comprehensive portfolio includes circuit protection products, surge protective devices, disconnects, safety switches, fuse holders and blocks, power distribution blocks, panel-mount fuse holders and DIN-Rail terminal blocks.
Additionally, these products help to achieve a higher assembly short-circuit current rating (SCCR) and are Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Listed or Recognized for enhanced safety, and many products offer IP20 finger-safe protection.
